Lowood is located in the county of Somerset, on the edge of Exmoor, with the dramatic coastline 3 miles from the house and offers a multitude of activities for families and adventurers alike.
Set in 3.5 acres of beautiful grounds where swifts, owls and kingfishers flourish, Lowood is a large 200-year-old 8 bedroom farmhouse perfect for gatherings for extended family and friends without getting under each other's feet!

A river runs through the end of the garden and houses ducks, otters and fish.
The surrounding area has 2 pubs within a 10 minute walk, Dunster Castle, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Porlock Weir, Watchet's picturesque harbour and many more picturesque sites. The delightful resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth, towns linked by a unique cliff railway, are a short trip from Lowood.
For those wanting to get the adrenaline going, the wilds of Exmoor and surrounds has great walking, cycling, shooting, surfing, horse riding, adventure sports, fishing and so on -- enough for even the most energetic of people.

The Lowood Lifestyle
Lowood is all about getting back to some quality time with friends and family. The large farmhouse kitchen is fully equipped with multiple ovens, microwaves and plenty of kit for catering to a crowd. Have a glass and a chat whilst dinner is cooking, then enjoy your meal around the rustic dining table (which seats up to 16-18).

The Bedrooms
With 8 individually designed bedrooms, Lowood can comfortably sleep up to 23. Choose your room from the large Safari Room, the opulent 'bling' room, or the luxury of the four poster room. The Jungle room hosts a number of single beds at varying heights and positions creating the perfect children's room.

With 8 bedrooms across two floors, multiple family units each get their own space. Children have 3.5 acres of gardens, a playground, trampoline, fairy trail and woodland to explore. The large kitchen is fully equipped for catering to the whole group, with everyone eating together around one table.
Birthday Celebrations
Celebrate in style with the whole house to yourselves. The candlelit dining room seats 16-18 for a special dinner, there is a cosy bar for after-dinner drinks, and two pubs within walking distance for a change of scene. Add archery or clay shooting for a memorable group activity.
Friend Reunions
No better way to reconnect than a weekend in the Somerset countryside. Cook together, walk to the pub, play table tennis, stargaze under Exmoor's Dark Skies, and catch up around the wood-burning stove. With 8 bedrooms, there is space for everyone.
Hen Parties
A stunning Georgian farmhouse with 3.5 acres of grounds, bell tent glamping, and a cosy bar -- a stylish alternative to a city centre rental. Add archery, craft workshops, or a private chef. Two pubs within walking distance for the evening.
